Darby Racing & Peter Moody fire with a double

An extremely pleasing week for both Darby Racing and trainer Peter Moody after both Mystic Moon and Rock Forthe Ladies won their races this week.

On Tuesday at Mornington, Mystic Moon a daughter of Magnus, brought up win number 2 from just her 3 starts to date with a strong performance to kick up and lead all the way, fighting off all challengers, it was a very tough effort and extremely pleasing for all her wonderful owners.

Peter Moody her trainer, is going to continue to place her as she learns to race and continues to mature and strengthen.

Wednesday saw the highly promising Rock Forthe Ladies resume at Sandown over 1200m. Well short of his best distance and ridden by Glen Boss, Rock Forthe Ladies was given a gun ride by Boss placing him in the perfect position one out one back. Boss asked the grey gelding for the supreme effort at the 300m mark and impressed all with his great turn of foot to win comfortably.

Trainer Peter Moody was very happy with his return and has him ear marked for a very good preparation.

Rock Forthe Ladies has now won over $100,000 in stakes earning form his 8 starts including 4 wins.

Rock Forthe Ladies completed Darby Racing's 34th winner for the season!
