Snitzelwood - The Eight Wonder

It seems like only yesterday I was writing about Snitzelwood winning his 7th race however the warhorse backed up again last Sunday winning his 8th race over the 2200m event on the Geelong synthetic track.

Ridden to perfection by Michael Walker, Snitzelwood was given the gun run just behind the leader before being presented in the straight. Snitzelwood took most of the straight to get past the well performed European import 'Vengeur Masque (IRE)' who performed in Group races in England.

It is a huge testament to the Lindsay Park training establishment keeping Snitzelwood up for 12 runs this time in. Snitzelwood is simply a warhorse and will continue to race whilst still perfroming and happy.

Snitzelwood will now be stepped up to midweek company at Caulfield for his next start.
