Samadoubt in a 4.5 length ROMP

October 25, 2016

Samadoubt broke a string of recent 2nd placings, to blitz his maiden last Saturday at Kembla by a whopping 4.5 lengths.

The strapping son by Not A Single Doubt, was installed the $3 fav and didn't let his backers down, jumping briskly from the gates to lead comfortably, before kicking away to break his maiden in style.

Jockey Chad Lever even had time to drop his whip halfway down the straight which had no bearing as he gave his opposition no hope of catching him over the 1200m journey.

Trainer Bjorn Baker was full of praised for the lightly raced colt believing, the step up to 1200m from the 1000m distance, was a key factor in his success.

Samadoubt is a stunning looking chestnut colt and many more wins look in store. He may line up either at Gosford early next month or even a shot in town on a Saturday.

Congratulations to all his owners
