Dark Eyes continues to step up to plate

March 1, 2017

Dark Eyes, by Australia's hottest sire Snitzel, just continues to deliver on the track for his owners, winning again last Saturday at Randwick on a very heavy track over the 2000m.

Given a very easy time up front by inform hoop Tim Clark, Dark Eyes looked switched on, traveled like the winner and skipped clear down the running to win by almost 4 lengths. This tough and tenacious gelding never ceases to amaze continuing to not only step up in class but to a distance that once we thought not possible.

Dark Eyes will look to improve on his already impressive record of 16 starts 6 wins and almost $250,000 in stakes earning, by lining up this Sunday in the Listed Canberra Cup, run over 2000m and worth $200,000. This race looks another great test for our tough up and coming middle distance horse.

Congratulations to all his owners

Mr P Ingerman, Mr C A London, Mr M Jones, Mr P J Taunton, Mr G R Hunt, Mr S F Lawrence, Mr C S Lawrence, Mr M J Kayem, Mr L J Gore, Mr G F Doyle, Mr N Lal, Mr D R Murray, Mr P Q Conroy, Mr J L Conroy, Snitzelation, Mallee Boys
