Mr Tickets wins again - Another bargain Darby Racing purchase

Mr Tickets, the ever consistent Tickets gelding, chalked up his 2nd win at start 8 on Monday to go along with his 4 placings and ticking over $50,000 in stakes earnings. Not bad for a gelding that cost just $1,350 a 5% share and there looks plenty more in store.

Ridden a treat by Koby Jennigs and trained to the minute by rising star trainer Mark Newnham, Mr Tickets always had the race in his keeping after being positioned one out one back and produced at the top of the straight to win comfortably by half a length.

Mr Tickets, trained by Mark Newnham is building quite the record and once he learns to apply himself over the final furlong, we are confident he will be winning races in Metro Sydney.

Purchased at the Inglis Scone sale, Mr Tickets is a big rangy sprinter/miler with plenty to offer in fact two starts back, he finished just 1.9 lengths off subsequent stakes winner Excocet, in the Wagga Guineas.

Mr Tickets has given his owners plenty of thrills already and I'm sure the 3yo gelding has plenty more to come. Mr Tickets is well loved and is a great advertisement for racehorse syndication for not a lot of money invested.
