Irithea does it again

July 31, 2017

Promising 4YO mare 'Irithea', backed up her very impressive maiden win a fortnight ago, with an equally impressive win at Gosford on Saturday in the class 2 Fillies and mare handicap.

Partnered once again by Chad Lever, Irithea showed her class again by dominating from the front before kicking away at the top of the straight before being eased down over the concluding stages for an effortless win.

Snitzel, the Sire of Irithea, has enjoyed a record breaking season and has taken all before him.

Given plenty of time to mature by trainer Bjorn Baker, Irithea is now ready to be stepped up to city class where she will head to Canterbury on Wednesday the 16th of August where she should continue her winning run.

Congratulations to all her owners
