Mr Ticket breaks through at Gosford

Mr Tickets rewarded his loyal owners with a strong Gosford mile win. The four-year-old gelding by Tickets recorded his third win for the Mark Newnham stable. The ultra consistent Mr Tickets had to contend with three straight seconds before finally breaking into the winners circle for his loyal owners. Rider Tim Clark controlled the race from the outset, once he found the front he dictated the speed beautifully throughout the first half of the race. Approaching the corner for the run home he skipped away from the rest of the field with a comfortable margin on the line.

He has now amassed $83,000 from three wins and nine placings from fourteen starts since we secured him at the 2015 Inglis Scone Sales, not a bad return from a $6,000 purchase. Reports from the stable he has come through in super order and will now have his chance to come to town when we see him next at the races.
