Yankee Rose begins her preparation to Golden Slipper Glory

Undefeated and highly talented 2YO filly, 'Yankee Rose', arrived back at David Vandykes Warwick Farm stable today full of anticipation as she begins her journey towards the 2016 $3million Golden Slipper.

Yankee Rose winner of 2 races from 2 starts has already earned connections over $177,000 in Stakes and more importantly a ticket into the richest 2YO race in the world, the ATC Golden Slipper.

Master trainer David Vandyke will attempt what may never have been done before by starting the daughter of All American first up in the rich 2YO event. David believes her main aim will be the Sire's Produce and Champagne Stakes and will have to go into the Golden Slipper fresh being that she is bred to run over longer journeys. Yankee Rose will have 2 lead up trials before contesting the $3million event.

Her owners have enjoyed a relaxing Christmas knowing their super filly has already qualified however as the day draws closer, nerves are sure to take over as having a runner in such a big race are feats only dreamnt about. It's going to be one hell of a ride!
