Scarlet Rain on track to extend winning run in Group 1 feature

SCARLET Rain had an impressive final hitout at Randwick on Tuesday before Saturday’s $3.5 million Golden Slipper.

Jockey Tim Clark worked the striking Gai Waterhouse filly over 600m out wide on a soggy course proper, running 39 seconds before revving up over the final 200m in 12 secs.

“She felt nice, got through the going well and will line up in good order,” Clark said of the unbeaten filly who has drawn awkwardly in barrier 16 for the Slipper.
