Spur Le Jouer eyes off Cup

FOUR-YEAR-OLD Spur Le Joeur might head north for a Cups race.

The Darby Racing-syndicated galloper scored a dominant win in a Class 4 (1400m) at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday, June 5.

Despite apprentice Tiffani Brooker's claim, he still had to lump 58.5kg on the heavy track but bolted in by four lengths as $3 favourite.

"He bounced back to form after having no luck at the Gold Coast last start,'' said trainer Stuart Kendrick.

"We are considering a Rocky Cup (1600m) start for him."
