Darby Racing breaks the $1million mark for prize money earned this season for owners

With just shy of 6 months into the current 2015/16 racing seaon, Darby Racing is having its best season ever with 27 winners and over $1million earned in prize money by horses syndicated and racing in the Darby colours.

Never has the excitement and buzz been so high in the Darby Racing camp with 2YO's firing, promising 3YO's returning and older horses hitting the mark. Last year Darby Racing won 27 races for their clients and just over $1.2million in prize money. With just over half of the current season remaining, Darby Racing has already equalled last year's feats and is set to have the most successful season ever in it's 8 years of trade.

Already 3 metro Saturday winning 2YO's including Golden Slipper bound, 'Yankee Rose' ($10K purchase) and winner of over $176,000. Scarlet Rain, also Golden Slipper bound, winner of her first 2 starts and over $136,000. 'Rampage', Blue Diamond Stakes bound, 2 starts for 1 one win at Moonee Valley and a 3rd placing in the Listed Inglis Nursery and 'Hussterical', twice city placed and foot firmly on the till. With more 2YO's to step out shortly, could this be the year Darby Racing takes out a major 2YO Group 1 event?

Another mare that has contributed greatly to the growth in winning numbers is the highly talented 'Selita', winner of 4 straight races including 3 in metro Sydeny, this oustanding daughter by Shaft is looking to make it 5 wins on end next Saturday at Rosehill. Trained to perfection by Bjorn Baker, this mare is giving her patient owners the ride of their lives.

Of course this great run of success could not be possible without the support of owners, trainers, jockeys and staff.
