Promising I Am Invincible fillly - Meraki Miss breaks through at Kembla

Despite being very green, promising I am Invincible 3YO filly, Meraki Miss broke her maiden at Kembla Grange last Saturday in the Right Choice Real Estate maiden.

Ridden by Victorian jockey Katelyn Mallyon and trained by Bjorn Baker at Warwick Farm, Meraki Miss has been a work in progress with plenty to learn in preparation for her 2nd career start.

After jumping well, Meraki Miss settled 2nd and 3rd in the run before moving up to the leader rounding the turn. At the point of the 250m mark, Meraki Miss proceeded to take the lead before showing her greenness and began to veer off the track, giving jockey Katelyn Mallyon a difficult ride before getting the best out of her to go on and win by 1.3 lengths.

It was certainly a relief to see her win as she has always shown plenty of ability and based on Saturday's win, there seems plenty of improvement to come.

One to watch for the future!

Congratulations to all her owners
