IRITHEA -Our impeccably bred SNITZEL filly breaks through at Newcastle

It was so rewarding and exciting to see our sensationally well bred Snitzel filly 'Irithea', break her maiden last Saturday at Newcastle.

At just her 5th race start, this regally bred filly, led the field up comfortably under the riding of Chad Lever, before kicking away for an impressive and easy 2 length victory.

Irithea has promised plenty and has only missed a place once in her short 5 start career. Trainer Bjorn Baker has been very patient allowing the strapping daughter by Snitzel to mature and develop and it appears to have really paid dividends

Not only is Irithea by the hottest Sire in Australia SNITZEL but she is also out of the well related mare Kirovskaya the 1/2 sister to champion Japanese race filly CESARIO

Cesario was not only 3YO champion Japanese filly but has also produced Group 1 gallopers EPIPHANIEA and LEONTES.

No doubt that our owners of Irithea now, have a valuable breeding proposition on their hands when she heads to the breeding barn

Irithea will now be tested in metro Sydney at Randwick on the 29th of July against her own sex and age. It's a big step up in grade but based on her win last week, a Saturday metro win doesn't look beyond her.
