Darby Racing 4.11.2026

WHAT A WONDERFUL FIRST PREPARATION FOR HIS NEW OWNERS!

Our talented son of Lonhro, POLYGLOT, capped off a sensational preparation with a brilliant victory in the $300,000 Choisir Handicap at Royal Randwick on Melbourne Cup Day!

Beautifully ridden by Dylan Gibbons, Polyglot showed tremendous determination to claim the $170,000 winner's cheque and record his 6th career victory, taking his career earnings beyond $700,000!

What a fantastic journey this horse has taken his new ownership group on! Since joining the Darby Racing team, Polyglot has delivered 4 wins, including 3 Saturday metropolitan victories, and 2 placings from his last 7 starts, proving himself a terrific acquisition and providing his owners with some unforgettable moments.

A massive thank you to Michael Freedman and his entire team for the outstanding job they've done with Polyglot throughout this preparation. His consistency, improvement and continued enthusiasm are a credit to the stable.

Special thanks to Dylan Gibbons for a terrific winning ride yesterday, and to all the jockeys who have contributed throughout the preparation.

Most importantly, CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR WONDERFUL OWNERS! Racing is all about enjoying the journey, sharing the excitement and celebrating those special moments together. Polyglot has certainly delivered plenty of those!

He now heads off for a thoroughly deserved spell, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for this exciting sprinter.

FOUR WINS, A $300,000 FEATURE RACE VICTORY AND PLENTY OF HAPPY OWNERS!

That's what racehorse ownership is all about!
