PELEUS RETURNS WITH A BANG AT KEMBLA

Peleus made the perfect start to his new campaign, returning from a spell with an impressive victory at Kembla Grange on Saturday.
The four-year-old son of Pariah lined up first-up over 1200m for trainers Mitch Beer & George Carpenter and showed he has returned in terrific order.
Given a beautiful ride by Jean Van Overmeire, Peleus settled comfortably off the speed before working into the race and producing a strong finish when it mattered, going on to score by 0.8 lengths.
It was a particularly pleasing return after Peleus showed good consistency last preparation, including a maiden victory at Hawkesbury followed by consecutive seconds. Saturday's performance was another step forward and gives us plenty of confidence that he has returned a stronger and more mature racehorse.
There looks to be plenty of upside to Peleus this preparation, and we're excited to see what he can produce as he progresses through the grades.
A huge congratulations to all of his owners on a fantastic first-up result. There is nothing better than starting a preparation in the winner's circle!
