What a season it has been.

With just four days remaining in the 2025/26 Australian racing season, Darby Racing has reached a remarkable milestone, recording 100 winners for the season, along with more than 180 placings, 12 stakes victories, and over $12 million in prizemoney.

To achieve 100 wins in a single season is something we are incredibly proud of. It is a testament to the dedication, teamwork and passion of so many people who make Darby Racing what it is.

First and foremost, thank you to our wonderful owners. Your loyalty, trust and belief in our team is something we never take for granted. Every winner we celebrate belongs just as much to you as it does to us, and we are grateful to have you sharing this incredible journey.

A huge thank you also goes to our outstanding team of trainers and jockeys. Your professionalism, skill and commitment have been instrumental in helping our horses perform at the highest level throughout the season.

I also want to acknowledge the people who work tirelessly behind the scenes every single day. A special thank you to my incredible staff, Mark Holland, Loren Wadsworth, Steve McIvor, Carolyn McCarthy, Harry Lee and Edwina Darby. Your hard work, dedication and attention to detail often go unseen, but without your efforts none of this would be possible. This milestone belongs to each of you.

The season has produced countless memorable moments, highlighted by Caballus capturing the prestigious Group 1 Newmarket Handicap, one of Australia's great sprint races.

Overpass once again flew the Australian flag with distinction, producing a brave third placing in the Group 1 King Charles III Stakes at Royal Ascot against the world's best sprinters.

Our future also looks incredibly bright. Revengeance announced himself as one of the country's most exciting juveniles with victory in the Golden Gift, while Spicy Miss stamped herself as a genuine elite filly by taking out the Group 2 Sweet Embrace Stakes, earning her place in the 2026 Golden Slipper.

These headline performances, combined with 12 stakes victories, have made this one of the most successful seasons in Darby Racing's history.

While reaching 100 winners is a milestone worth celebrating, we're certainly not finished yet. With four days remaining in the racing season, we'll continue striving to add to the tally before turning our attention to what promises to be another exciting year.

From everyone at Darby Racing, thank you for being part of the journey. We can't wait to see what the next season has in store.
