Four Winners, One Unforgettable Day at Kembla Grange

What a way to close out the season.

Darby Racing celebrated an extraordinary day at Kembla Grange, leading home an incredible four winners in a performance that showcased the depth of our team, the quality of our horses, and the passion of our owners.

The day began in spectacular fashion with LEGO MASTER, a 3-year-old bay gelding by Graff out of Better Than Lego, taking out the opening race in dominant style. Trained by Bjorn Baker and superbly ridden by Dylan Gibbons, LEGO MASTER proved far too strong, scoring by a convincing one length to set the tone for what was to come. The winning momentum continued in Race 5 with COBRA CLUB, the exciting 3-year-old by Cool Aza Beel (NZ) out of Venom. Prepared by the champion training partnership of Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, and expertly piloted by Reagan Bayliss, COBRA CLUB produced a brilliant display, putting the field away by an impressive 2.3 lengths.

In Race 7, one of the most rewarding victories of the afternoon belonged to HEURISTIC, the 5-year-old by Street Boss (USA) out of Admissible. Having not visited the winner's stall since 2023, HEURISTIC returned to his best with a determined one-length victory. Congratulations to trainers Mitch Beer and George Carpenter, while apprentice Siena Grima produced a polished ride full of confidence and composure. The job Mitch and George have done with this enigma, is incredible!

The perfect finish came in Race 8 with STALLONE, the 4-year-old bay gelding by Extreme Choice out of Good Looking Mare. Trained by Bjorn Baker, STALLONE fought courageously to prevail by 0.3 lengths, giving Bjorn a well-deserved training double on the day. Champion jockey Kerrin McEvoy once again demonstrated his class in the saddle.

To finish the season with four winners on the one program is a remarkable achievement and a fitting reward for the dedication of everyone involved.
