Irithea Makes it 3 straight

Trainer Bjorn Baker has placed our highly talented 4YO mare by Snitzel, IRITHEA, to perfection after she chalked up her 3rd win in a row on Wednesday at Canterbury from as many starts this time in.

Ridden very well by Bjorn's apprentice Jean Van Overmiere, Irithea was positioned just behind the leaders on the fence before securing an inside run and overhauling the leaders in the final 150m to record a very tough win.

Irithea is extremely well bred and is now putting together a very impressive race record with 7 starts, 3 wins and 3 placings. Unfortunately, Irithea does have ongoing changes in her knees and will need time to mature and develop by sending her to the paddock on a high for a few months rest.

Irithea will be targeted in the Autumn and Winter at some of the mares black type events to continue her rise in value and on what we have seen this time in, the sky is the limit.
